Help a mom and her children with what they need to move in
The Lily's Place Residential Treatment Center makes it possible for moms with substance use disorder to get the treatment they need, while their children have access to prevention services all while continuing to live together as a family. They will stay in the apartment for 3-6 months.
When a new family moves in, there are things that they will need to begin this chapter. Some of these things include mattresses, bedding, dishes, clothes, towels, etc. A donation of $1,500 will cover the cost to get the new family set up.
During the time of your sponsorship, you have the opportunity to support the family in other ways - sending encouraging cards, snacks, praying for them, etc. Your church or organization can have your name on the apartment during the time that family is there.
This $1,500 is more than just linens and supplies - this is a new beginning for this family.
