LILY’S PLACE UNVEILS A NEW COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT OUTREACH TO CELEBRATE BIRTHDAYS
HUNTINGTON, W.Va., April 8, 2019 – Lily’s Place is celebrating nearly 5 years of partnership with the community and serving over 250 families whose lives have been forever changed by sending 250 Birthday Boxes full of unique gifts to those who participate in the inaugural Birthday Box Challenge. Those who participate in the #BirthdayBoxChallenge will receive a specially curated birthday box that includes items such as a limited-edition Lily’s Place campfire mug, a signature scent soy candle created by The HauteWick Social, and everything needed to celebrate a birthday including Happy Birthday banners, blowers, and balloons. The box arrives free of charge; Lily’s Place only asks that participants donate their birthday using a peer to peer fundraising platform such as Facebook or Network for Good. Instructions on how to start your fundraiser are included in the box.
Rebecca Crowder, executive director of Lily’s Place spoke of this exciting new initiative. “Lily’s Place is a pioneer in providing medical care to infants suffering from Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome (NAS) and offering non-judgmental support services to caregivers. We have been fortunate to have received tremendous support from the community, and we hope this initiative will continue to raise awareness for babies with NAS and their families,” said Crowder.
